We could all use a laugh or two right about now. To that end, the college football season returns Thursday, and with it comes the season debut of Seventh Day Adventure, our college picks column. Vinny and Russell will try to improve upon last year's decidedly mediocre performance. Also, use this as the open college thread to discuss the games all weekend long.

College football bowl season is upon us (the lame part of it, anyway) and Seventh Day Adventure is back with the first of a two-part bowl-season spectacular. And really, what's more spectacular than the Continental Tire Bowl? Or a not-quite-New-Year's trip to Boise?

This is the final weekend of the college football regular season, with conference championships and BCS berths on the line. Vinny Gauri and Russell Levine break it all down, and answer the question: "What's the perfect reward for a successful trip to Detroit?" This article also serves as the college football open thread to discuss the games and the BCS selections on Sunday.

Think all the college football rivalry games were last week? Think again! Texas A&M no longer lights a big bonfire to prepare for its game with Texas, so instead they'll try to burn down the BCS. This week also brings us the Egg Bowl, the Backyard Brawl, and whatever they call Virginia-Virginia Tech (The Virgin Bowl?). Vinny and Russell have the details on all the college action as well as a thread to discuss college football all weekend long.

It's Rivalry Week in college football, with Michigan-Ohio State, Florida-Florida State, Alabama-Auburn and more. What better time for Vinny to take a road trip to Las Vegas? Before leaving (and losing his shirt), Vinny and Russell break down all the big games and offer picks in Seventh Day Adventure. This is also the thread for discussing college football all weekend.

Michigan State players arrested for making homemade bombs. Maurice Clarett accuses Ohio State of being a latter-day SMU. Is it any wonder that Michigan grads Vinny and Russell were smiling this week? Seventh Day Adventure (America's foremost college football column that guarantees Saved by the Bell references) is back with the weekend preview/college open thread.

Now that the election is behind us, it's time to concentrate on the polls that really matter: the AP, ESPN/USA Today, and the BCS. Seventh Day Adventure breaks down all of Saturday's biggest college games and offers picks. Plus, what has college football come to when a running back has to pay for his own lap dances? This is also the open thread for discussing NCAA action all weekend long.
