It's rivalry week in college football and you know what that means -- time for Vinny and Russell to roll out their "expertise" on the Apple Cup matchup of 3-7 Washington State vs. 2-8 Washington -- plus picks on the games people actually care about. Will they be bold enough to guarantee an Ohio State win by both picking Michigan?

Is it possible to watch Virginia Tech play Miami without trying to adjust the color on your television set? Is anybody paying attention to Colorado or Oregon? And who will win the game of the year in the Big Ten: Penn State or Wisconsin? (Excuse me, did I read that right?) Go all around the world of college football with the cast of Seventh Day Adventure.

The Surgeon General has advised that following the handicapping advice of Vinny and Russell for this weekend's college football games can be hazardous to your health. Four out of five dentists surveyed agree that these picks likely stink. But don't let that stop you from offering your own predictions, claiming after the fact that you did much better, and using this as the open thread to discuss college games all weekend long.

Everything is right with the world -- Vinny and Russell are both comfortably back under .500 for the season. This week they take their discerning football acumen and ascerbic wit to the biggest conference games of the weekend, mostly in the 10's, both Big and PAC. Plus they look at the Conference USA barnburner between Tulsa and Memphis, and perform some sophisticated sideline accoutrement analysis.
