Arizona's new coaches use their internal knowledge of the Steelers to pull a surprising upset... wait, what? You say the Steelers struggled to run the ball last season and gave up sacks while Whisenhunt and Grimm were still on the staff? Let's not let those pesky details get in the way of the storyline, OK? Plus: Arizona's QB platoon.

LaDainian Tomlinson still can't run the football, but is it possible his offensive line is what is holding him back? The Chargers can't defend a four- or five-receiver set, but is the problem Shawne Merriman? Plus, Brett Favre is just having fun again, and with the Packers running game, he'll have plenty of opportunities to prove he's a gunslinger.

The Saints were almost everybody's pick to win the NFC South. Two games into the season, their big-play offense has been stymied. The Buccaneers, meanwhile, were only selected by a computer, but are there glimpses of a competent team emerging?

Apparently, the Jaguars did not spend the off-season confronting the problems they had with poor teams. The Titans dominated both lines of scrimmage and sent DVOA projection darling Jacksonville to an early-season loss. Were the Jaguars more afraid of Vince Young's arm, or his legs? And where was the Jacksonville running game?

The Indianapolis Colts are in the AFC Championship because of their defense and physical running game? What's wrong with the world? The Colts have made adjustments, but success on third downs accounts for a large part of their improvement. Also, Steve McNair may have sunk the Ravens, but he also propelled them to their best offense in years.

The worst defense in the NFL since Week 13? None other than the Dallas Cowboys. Not exactly the momentum they want heading into the playoffs. Hopefully the Lions organization realizes that they were feasting on a wounded animal and not displaying potential for next season. All this, plus Tony Romo likes to drop the football.

Merry Christmas, Eagles fans! Your team is in position to win the NFC East thanks to a win over TO and the 'Boys. The Eagles were written off by everyone, us included, when Donovan McNabb went down. Now, they have the inside track to the NFC East crown. Dallas, meanwhile, is falling apart fast. Their pass defense is in shambles. They finally figure out how to cover running backs and suddenly tight ends are killing them.

New Orleans has been the NFL's most surprising team this year. Sunday, it was their turn to get surprised. The offensive line struggled, and Drew Brees better start throwing deep during the week like he does on Sundays, because the Saints' defense needs the practice. In Washington, meanwhile, Jason Campbell throws a pretty ball but needs to figure out where it is going.

Yeremiah may love to drink his wine, but he also likes to shut down the opposition's pass offense. Tom Brady appears to be enjoying the wine too much the night before games when he plays Miami. The Patriots offensive line has a general hangover since their bye. Joey Harrington is drinking some magic concoction that has him resembling a quality quarterback.

If the Colts and Titans played a game where each team got 50 possessions, the Colts would likely win by 75 points. When they only get nine, things are a lot closer. Plus, the Colts miss David Thornton, the run defense is still bad, and Vince Young loves the shotgun.
