Now that all the individual postseason hardware has been handed out and the focus has shifted to the silly season for coaching hires (has Alabama's athletic director Mal Moore found anyone to take his wheelbarrow full of cash yet?), there are still things about the college football season just past that are worth reviewing.

This week, everything collapses: the Indianapolis run defense, the New England offensive line, Shaun Alexander's record, the Denver Broncos, the Labour party of the mid-90's, and the Legend of Tony Romo. Plus: My name is Prince, and I am funky.

Two division leaders meet up in Dallas, but only one of these teams has balanced talent. Meanwhile, Denver's recent struggles began with their first game against San Diego. Can they use the second game to end those same struggles?

We just can't get enough Herm Edwards at The Week in Quotes. It's just too bad he's going to destroy Larry Johnson's career while he's being so quotable. Also: fantasy football is popular, but sideline reporters are not.

Overs? Unders? Good teams? Bad teams? It's all the same in the NFL. Rob Bironas can go from being a Loser League favorite to kicking 60-yard game-winning field goals, and Bill's betting record isn't happy. Ian revisits the Over/Under bets for this season, and that doesn't make Bill or Ian very happy. Jason Beattie draws a comic, and that doesn't make Matt Millen very happy.

Are the Jets ready to make a surprising playoff run under first-year coach Eric Mangini? If so, they'll need some improvement on the defense, which we explore in this week's Every Play Counts.

This week, the top four stay the same in the total ratings while Dallas takes a slim lead in weighted DVOA. The Titans and Jets are rising, the Redskins are falling, and the Giants and Eagles just won't die. Well, their DVOA ratings won't die; the Giants might kill each other in real life. Commentary now available on FOXSports.com.

If the Colts and Titans played a game where each team got 50 possessions, the Colts would likely win by 75 points. When they only get nine, things are a lot closer. Plus, the Colts miss David Thornton, the run defense is still bad, and Vince Young loves the shotgun.
