8th Circuit Grants NFL Motion For Stay of Lockout

By a vote of 2-1, the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has granted the National Football League's request for a stay during their appeal of U.S. District Judge Susan Nelson's April 25 ruling that the lockout be lifted. (Click to read more.)

Ravens Owner Not Happy With Bears

On Thursday, the Baltimore Ravens thought they had acquired a 2011 fourth-round draft choice from the Chicago Bears after agreeing to move back a few spots in round one. Baltimore's allotted time to make or trade the pick expired, after the Bears failed to confirm the trade with the league office. That period of uncertainty allowed the Kansas City Chiefs to step in and make their pick ahead of the Ravens. (Click to read more.)

NFL Lockout Back In Effect

The NFL has informed teams that, effective immediately, the rules of the lockout are back in place. Tonight's announcement was expected after the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis granted a temporary stay of the injunction that ended the lockout on Monday.

NFLPA Tells Players, Agents Football Operations Can Resume
