Cian Fahey, author of the weekly Film Room column at FO, has a new book out with a deep dive analysis of NFL quarterback performance in 2015. The Pre-Snap Reads Quarterback Catalogue charts 16,800 pass attempts and discusses 35 quarterbacks: every single player who attempted 250 passes during the 2015 season as well as quarterbacks of note Colin Kaepernick and Johnny Manziel. It costs $9.99 and can be purchased from Cian's own "Pre-Snap Reads" website or here at Football Outsiders.

Everything changed after Week 7. That was when the Houston Texans defense showed the resiliency it was expected to show from the start of the season. The Texans were giving up over 28 points per game during the first seven games of the season, but brought it back down to 12 per game since then. Now they face one of the teams that beat them early in the year, the Kansas City Chiefs, and it's their defense that gives them hope.

Sammy Watkins starred in Week 17 with 11 receptions against the New York Jets. While Rex Ryan will be satisfied that his young star helped him complete a sweep over his former team, the game also served as a reminder of what could have been. Watkins hasn't been used enough this year. The Bills coaching staff can't afford to go through the 2016 season giving their best playmaker the same kind of inconsistent service.
