This is a larger question than just "what's wrong with Chris Johnson?," and we look at it a different way. What has happened in the past to teams whose offenses were as unbalanced as those of Tennessee and Minnesota?

More Tim Tebow than you can shake a stick at, a check-in on the first start of the Christian Ponder era, and the Colts go to the glue factory.

Citing an acute case of "losing his passion for the game," Saints center Olin Kreutz has decided to leave New Orleans. He won't file retirement papers, but it seems like he has lost interest in playing. Having to play through an MCL sprain probably didn't help matters.
The Saints will turn to Brian De La Puente at center.

Per Pete Thamel of The New York Times, Missouri leaving the Big 12 for the SEC is now "inevitable and imminent," but there is no timeline for it to do so. Should that go down, the Big 12 will likely look to replenish via the Big East (or rumored soon-to-be Big East members), which could hurt their chances of retaining an automatic BCS bowl bid.

Here is your deadline blockbuster: The Raiders acquired Carson Palmer from the Bengals for their 2012 first-round pick and a conditional pick in 2013 that could also be a first-rounder. According to Chris Mortensen, the 2013 pick is a first-rounder if the Raiders win a playoff game in 2011, if not, it is a second-rounder.

Is Devin Hester a Hall Of Famer? Why was Nate Burleson's catch not cancelled via the Calvin Johnson rule? Is this the untimely end of Rex Grossman?

According to Jason Cole of Yahoo, the Raiders moved right into trying to trade for retired Cincinnati quarterback Carson Palmer after learning that incumbent starter Jason Campbell has been lost for the season.
Of course, it's unlikely anything will happen given Mike Brown's stance on the Palmer situation. But hey: trade deadline speculation thread!
