Yes. Per Adam Schefter and the ESPN crew, all of the remaining problems have been ironed out. The likely scenario sees a press conference on Monday, and sets up free agency to begin next Saturday.

Report: 75 Ex-Players Sue NFL

Take one step forward if you're a sports league that thinks it is through with courtroom battles for the time being. Not so fast, NFL.

Per TMZ, a number of retired players have seen their shadows and are suing the NFL, claiming that the league covered up just how damaging concussions are for the past 90 years. If I'm reading my chart correctly, I think that means at least six more years of well-meaning concussion commercials.

Sources: Jackson, Mankins Push For Compensation

One of the last hurdles in the way of a new CBA appears to be settling with the plaintiffs of Brady vs. the NFL. While most of the players involved don't have much of a reason to ask for special treatment, a pair of players embittered by the franchise tag are speaking up. Logan Mankins and Vincent Jackson are demanding to either become unrestricted free agents or be compensated a cool $10 million for their troubles landing a long-term deal with the Patriots and Chargers, respectively.

The Giants’ 2011 OL Eerily Resembles the Cowboys’ OL of 2010

Blogging The Beast has a look at the average ages of each team's projected starting offensive line going into the 2011 season. Dallas, which had the oldest line last year, drops to sixth with the addition of Tyron Smith. The Giants, on the other hand, are projected to have the oldest starting five by an average of almost 20 months.

Georgia Tech Vacates 2009 ACC Title

According to the NCAA, Demaryius Thomas and Morgan Burnett, among others, should have been declared ineligible. Thus, Georgia Tech's football program will go on probation for four years and it has been stripped of the 2009 ACC Championship.

People Familiar With Talks: NFL Tentative Agreement In Principle Could Come Within 24 Hours

Possibly, maybe. We may want to hedge that title a little more.

Greg Cosell, Unheralded Maestro of N.F.L. ‘Matchup’

The Fifth Down's Andy Benoit has compiled a lengthy profile of tape savant (and friend of FO!) Greg Cosell. Benoit conjectures that Cosell could have a future in a general manager's office or a broadcast booth with the help of some high-profile names, but Greg manages to come off as completely humble despite that.
