This week's Sunday Night Football column for NBC Sports looks at Ryan Lindley and playoff teams that have started three (or more!) quarterbacks in the regular season. That list includes four Super Bowl champions, none of whom played any of their backups in the playoffs. Lindley? Available evidence indicates he just might be really, really bad, but I outline a potential minimal gameplan for him.

Philadelphia has the #1-ranked special teams unit by DVOA, so I wrote about that and their improvement there over last year for this week's Sunday Night Football column for NBC Sports.

For this week's SNF column at NBC Sports, I take a look at the three men to be the Broncos' lead back this year.

For this week's SNF column for NBC Sports, I took a look at Dez Bryant. DeMarco Murray is getting most of the publicity because he has the stats, but Dez is still really, really good.

For this week's NBC Sports column previewing Sunday Night Football, I use DVOA to help me look at some of the reasons behind (or in one case, not behind) New England's offensive improvement in their last five games.

In this week's Sunday Night Football column, I examine the decline in Brandon Marshall's DVOA. As the headline indicates, it's all about downfield throws.

This week's Sunday Night Football column for NBC Sports covers what happens the week after a quarterback has a big passing day like Ben Roethlisberger has. The short answer: a whole lot of regression to the mean.

For this week's SNF feature for NBC Sports, I wrote about the Green Bay Packer receiver leading the league in DYAR. Nope, it's Randall Cobb, not Jordy Nelson.

File this under "Huh?", "Really?" and "Stories I Would Not Have Believed Without Jay Glazer's Track Record."

For this week's SNF column, I look at Peyton Manning's touchdowns by distance. He's throwing more short TDs than he used to, and that was true late in his Indianapolis days as well as in Denver.
