Yup. The New England Patriots are signing Tim Tebow. To play football. Not just that, but to play quarterback. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports that after releasing Mike Kafka, the Pats will sign Tebow to back up Tom Brady and Ryan Mallett. And, probably, to run some option against the Jets just to stick it to Rex Ryan. New England offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Josh McDaniels was head coach in Denver when the Broncos drafted Tebow in the first round, and presumably endorsed the move.

The Falcons and Bucs are still lacking edge rushers, the Saints need someone to protect Drew Brees, and the Panthers desperately need a second good wideout.

Draftnik favorite Tavon Austin may be zooming up draft boards, but neither he nor the rest of this wide receiver class is well-liked by our Playmaker Score metric.

The Bucs, Panthers, and Saints have some work to do on defense, while the Falcons need to find a workhorse back that actually works.

Joe Flacco and Anquan Boldin led Baltimore to the Super Bowl title, but the single-game DVOA ratings may not have come out quite like you expect.

What tied San Francisco's worst games of the season together? They tended to struggle running the ball, while the pass defense gave up big chunks of yards early in the game. Also, it would help if the Ravens suddenly became the St. Louis Rams, although that makes no logical sense.

Looking at the Ravens' worst games this season, the key to stopping their offense seems to be to shut down Ray Rice and the tight ends, counting on the inherent inconsistency of deep passes to produce a number of punts and turnovers. Also, make Joe Flacco throw to his left.

Let us now praise some of the lesser-known names in this year's Super Bowl, starting with San Francisco's fabulous offensive line and Baltimore's Ray Lewis-in-training, Dannell Ellerbe.
