Are Mike Tanier's fan letters to John Elway sound advice, Grammy-worthy song lyrics, or the obsessed ramblings of a self-destructive maniac? All of the above is an option.

When a coach curses, it causes punctuation problems for a writer. Mike Tanier eats, shoots, and leaves his thoughts. Plus, the erosive Niners offense and Vikings plays worth burning.

Dirk Koetter's mind control, Legedu Naanee's holds, a goofy super stat and Mike Tanier's Eagles problem: a four-part, overindulgent epic worthy of Yes.

Want to watch Eagles-Seahawks with me? Want to do it in a really big, lively bar, where it is easy to slip away if I start screaming? How about a big, lively bar incredibly close to mass transit, so you can have that extra beer before slipping home via the subway, PATCO, or Suburban Station?
I will be signing books and generally causing a disturbance Thursday night at The Field House in Center City Philadelphia. Click the link for info. They will not let me guest bartender, because I threatened to make every drink with Clamato.

Happy Thanksgiving from the gang here at FO. In lieu of Walkthrough, some goofy jokes from the New York Times.

This is the second annual article for NBC where I write six stat factoids about the six Thanksgiving teams, and this one turned out really well! I fiddle with Aaron Rodgers' completion rates, go through Lions history, and look at some historic kickers who compare with David Akers, among other things.

Aaron Rodgers is good. The Colts and Jaguars are bad. Are any of them cromulent? This week's double-sized Walkthrough has the answer.
