Dave Gardner here alongside Rob Weintraub. We are sitting in the press box of the Georgia Dome, watching LSU-UNC. We'll post some updates in this thread, and we're both tweeting. He's @robwein ... I'm @davegard.

Feel free to fire some questions at us or throw your thoughts out there.

So glad college football is back.

LSU struggled in their first offensive possession despite good field position, but the UNC offense is just downright bad. They have been sacked and have fumbled twice. LSU's worst starting field position so far is its own 46-yard line.

Tarheels offense is starting to settle in a little bit, but penalties and miscommunication are hurting their flow.

A play after nearly being decapitated on the sidelines, T.J. Yates throws a screen for a touchdown and ties this one up.

Russell Shepard is a great athlete who was miscast as a quarterback. He's got two touchdowns today, and he looks like he has great awareness as a runner in the open field.

Hard to believe UNC is only down 6 and in good field position with all the errors they've made.

Time of possession on that last LSU drive was just announced: 9 seconds. Touchdown.

UNC recovers an onside kick here with a little over two minutes left in the game. They've had touchdowns on their last two possessions. They could win the game with a touchdown on this drive.

LSU fumbled with a little more than a minute left in the game, and UNC has driven it down to the LSU 15 with 10 seconds left. A lot of drama in this one.

UNC got the ball down the 5-yard line and took two shots at the end zone, but both fell incomplete.
