This idea is so ridiculous that it is awesome. What if you tore up all of college football's rosters and had every team draft from the available scholarship players? Jadeveon Clowney is now on Texas-San Antonio. Matt Barkley gets to be quarterback at UMass. Wicked absurdity.

Minor weaknesses dot these teams. Except for Arizona, which needs to bring in more help to really run Bruce Arians' offense.

Re: Andy Staples' College Mock Draft
What if I told you, you can just stay away from football in the off season?
You can take the red pill and you will not be bothered by one thought of football until the pre season starts.
You can take the blue pill, you wake up in your bed and read whatever you want to read.
Re: Andy Staples' College Mock Draft
Do not try and study football in July. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth: There is no football in July.

Nice.

you know what would prevent people from writing these articles? If you didn't read them or comment. Even if it brings out people who hate these articles, clicks are still clicks.

Not awesome. Just ridiculous. I'm sure there will be some that enjoy this. That's why there's public access TV - even late at night.
Re: Andy Staples' College Mock Draft
I found it to be an interesting time-waster. It's not like there's anything better to do at work, and it was an interesting exercise.
That being said, this was basically a way to recognize the best players in college football right now, who play for the biggest teams (the first non-BCS, Notre Dame, or TCU player selected was at 52), and really has no meaning without a full team. Selecting one player does not a franchise make.

"Selecting one player does not a franchise make."
Exactly. Wake me up when this guy does a full 75 round draft.
