One of the problems of this exercise is that the picks tend to be way too conservative. In '08, more of the previous year's 4th-placed teams made the playoffs than did 1st-placed teams. All of the NFC's bottom-ranked teams finished higher than all of its top-ranked teams.
Both Jimmy and Raiderjoe have only four teams moving two spots up or down in a division. Raiderjoe, to his credit, also has one last-to-first team, New Orleans. But it should be a rule that at least two of your playoff teams propped up their division last year, and no more than six of your playoff teams reached the postseason in 2008.
Same should go for the official non-computerized FO predictions, if they're allowed to happen this year.

Give me a little credit at least for having six out of eight division winners different and to be honest at this point the wild cards in both conferences look pretty tight. For example I can't really split the Saints and Vikings for the last NFC wildcard spot, does swapping them to add a last place finish make the list any better?

OK — I grant you that, although your six are all second-placed teams who finished zero, one or two games off the pace, plus DVOA binkie Philadelphia. But be bolder still! You have 13 teams finish in the same spot as last year. How many managed that in 2007-2008? Four: Steelers, Bengals, Chargers, Broncos.
(I don't mean to pick on you. This is part of a wider project to make "preictions" articles more interesting, while reminding fans that this is not 1976, and just because your team was good/bad last year does not mean it will be good/bad again this year.)
