PLEASE make it Thursday night. I am in two money leagues...one of them drafts Friday night. I can pull an all nighter if I have too....but Friday morning will make it tough for me to get much homework done prior to my first draft.
Not yet. E-readers are incapable of displaying tables correctly. Or at least, I don't know how to configure the tables so they will display in an e-reader. First item on my to-do list when this is done (I'm in the middle of laying out RBs now, then TEs, then WRs) is to see if I can work something out for 2012.
anybody else kind of viewing today as Christmas Eve? trying to get all of my last minute work done so I can take a long weekend and spend it with people (books) that I love.

Great news! Not to sound greedy, but do you have a ballpark on when we can expect the hard-copy? I'd just like to know an estimate (if possible) to gauge whether I can wait for the print version (preferred) or whether to cave and purchase the PDF.
No matter what the answer, thanks for all the overtime you guys put in to get the almanac ready this year.

I know you cats are working overtime, but I am enough of a nerd to have actually scheduled vacation time next week to read the book. And now it won't even be out until then....and then another week in the mail. Alas and alack, that's too late for me. Electronic formats aren't my brand of beer, so I gotta take a pass this year. Sorry.
Something other people have done in the past is bought the PDF, taken it to a local copy shop or printer, and had them run some kind of bound copy. Never done this myself outside of course packets as an undergrad X years ago, so don't know what the cost would be.
You can do that when you're in a hurry, or when your country has no mailing system at its disposal.
You have to copy and bind it yourself, the writers/publishers have the power of mass production.
Here it would cost for a 500 page book:
5c per side to print them out.
2.75 to glue/bind them together.
Another shop I checked charges 7c per side, so the book would not be €27.75 but €37.25
But that's Euros and since 1 Euro is about 1.4 dollars, a book would be 40/54USD.
And James, I'm sorry, I don't know the Euro to GBP ratio, nor do I know the Danish Rupee value, so my excuses to the danish community too.

I've gotten an estimated delivery date of September 6 with standard shipping. The past couple of years I've also experienced receiving the book much sooner than their estimated date, which is why I use standard shipping rather than the 1 or 2 day options. In any case, my order status still says "In production" rather than "Shipped", so I'm not sure what that means. I ordered Monday evening.
Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date
ditto to that. it would be helpful to know to at least have a one or two day window of when to expect it.
Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date
We are shooting for Thursday night or Friday morning. August 18-19.
Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date
Thank you, sir. Can't wait!
Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date

Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date
I can live with typos and grammar errors this year.
Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date
Fb29, very funny! I agree though!
Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date
Is there any way that FOA2011 could be released in other electronic formats (such as .mobi)? I'd be willing to pay a premium for this.

Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date
I would like to second this. Much prefer having a hard copy.

Sometime next week.

Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date
Kinkos around here has a special book rate, but it seems like it takes longer.
Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date
So I'm out of a job for nearly 8 months, but yesterday I received a phone call that I can start next week and NOWWWWWWW you release the book???
Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date
Above all else on the thread, that's great news, Theo. Congrats.
Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date
Theo, same thing happened to me lol! Congrats btw!!
Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date
Thanks thanks.
It taught me that applying for jobs is like an 8 bit nintendo game. And I downloaded and read/watched the entire internet.
Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date
Createaspace lists my estimated shipping date as Sept 8th, has anyone ordered using standard shipping and gotten it faster?
Re: 2011 Almanac Release Date
Every person I know who has ordered it from Createspace has gotten it much earlier than they were told. I believe I got mine in three days last year.
