C. Johnson for A. Johnson & J. Finley?

8-team ESPN league, standard scoring:

QB: J. Cutler
RB: C. Wells
RB: J. Charles
RB/WR: L. McCoy
WR: A. Johnson
WR: R. Moss
WR: C. Ochocinco
TE: J. Finley
K: M. Crosby

QB: D. McNabb
RB: J. Best
RB: Cadillac Williams
WR: J. Knox
WR: M. Wallace
TE: V. Shiancoe

Another player in my league is dying to dump CJ, and he's asking for a high WR and TE. CJ would give me a nice upgrade at RB, but geez, I get queasy at letting both AJ and JF go.

What do you guys think? Is it better to have a stud at both RB and WR or better to have the market cornered at WR? (If I make the trade, the other guy will have AJ plus B. Marshall and A. Boldin.)

Is the jump from McCoy to CJ larger than the drops from Finley to Shiancoe and AJ to Knox?

KUBIAK thinks there's a 100 point difference between CJ and McCoy, a 30 point difference between Finley and Shiancoe, and a 60 point difference between AJ and Knox, so you come out slightly ahead, but that's if you trust KUBIAK on all of those projections.

This trade also leaves you with an extra bench RB but kind of thin at WR, so that's another consideration.

I like the trade a bit better if you are confident you could move your RB depth for someone better than Knox.

Charles, McCoy, Wells, Best all seem like the same player to me. Sell high on one of them for a better WR3 (maybe someone like Bowe?) and I think you win in the end. Otherwise, I think you end up with markedly weaker WRs/TE with almost too much depth at RB.
