"Since 1988, 17 running backs have had at least 370 carries. None have improved their rushing yards or touchdowns in the following season, and eight (Larry Johnson, Shaun Alexander, Curtis Martin, Jamal Lewis, Edgerrin James, Jamal Anderson, Terrell Davis and Barry Foster) suffered injuries, some even career-ending."
