drop forte?

I play in a league where we have no bench players and if you want a different guy you just drop 1 and pick 1 up. Costs you $5 to do so I tend to try to avoid a bunch over the year.

Here is my question though, there are severel running backs out there that would be on most peoples benches but as i said, we have no bench. So I have Forte and Mendenhall at running back with Wells (questionable this week), Moreno (could be in a committee soon), Harrison (browns have no love for him) and McFadden (finaly a good week) all being free agents, should i drop one of my RB, most likely Forte, to pick on of these guys up? And if so, who? I would lean towards McFadden since this may finally be his year.

Sorry, Wells, Moreno, Harrison, and McFadden are all free agents

oh sorry again, it is a PPR league. But Dallas and the other defenses in the NFC north scare me down the stretch

I wouldn't drop him; I'd try to trade him to upgrade at a position, but I wouldn't drop him for anyone you listed as FAs.

Forte was money last week and will continue to be money in Martz's schemes. He's the bellcow of the Bears and will get tons of catches. His production will continue even if the Bears are getting blown out unlike nonpass catching RB's. Beanie is in a timeshare with Hightower at best, Moreno will be in a timeshare with Maroney at best, and McFadden is nothing special and probably timesharing.

With no bench, what do you do during bye weeks? You either have to cut someone valuable or you have to run a team with less than the full allotment of players. Interesting rule and by interesting I mean asinine.

lol....its not head to head, its just total points for the entire 17 weeks. So yeah if your guy is on a bye week you either get no points or you pick someone else up. Its actually the best league i am in. It also has and entire individual defense. 3 dl, 4 lb, and 4 db. Its sweet cause there is always guys out there to pick up but you have to pay to get them. Most leagues there are always good players just wasting away on peoples benches which i think is dumb. But thanks for the advice, i was thinking the same thing but it makes decisions harder. Trust me though, it is an awesome league.
