Eddie Royal

Any chance this guy makes a comeback this year? Just saw in a fantasy article to avoid him because he's moving to the slot. But it made me think "Didn't he play the slot his stellar rookie year?" and "Didn't Brandon Marshall play the slot alot last year?"

Honestly, I see a bottom 10, maybe a bottom 5 passing offense for Denver this year. Eddie Royal, injured rookie Deymarius Thomas and Jabar Gaffney with Orton throwing the ball? Stay away IMO.

I agree; Denver's passing offense does not inspire confidence.
As with everything, it depends on your league setup. I do see him being better than last year, but I just don't see him as having better than WR3 upside. I might try to get him for a buck in my auction, or grab him as my last pick of my other drafts.

Royal's got a little upside. IMO Orton is underrated and it sounds as though Royal will be more than a decoy this year. That said, temper your expectations. I might take a flier on Royal towards the end of the draft, that's it.

On top of that, word is that he's not even going to return kicks anymore; they're giving that job to Perrish Cox. So Royal's not even valuable in return yardage leagues.
