I'd say to take the gamble on Favre. Regardless of how much time he gets to practice with Moss he will get him the ball Sunday you can fagetaboutit. He may not explode against the Jets D but I like the long term. Favre has been bad because he has had nobody to throw to. And when Rice returns, so will the wins.

Favre has looked horrible, plays the NYJ defense, and has had only two days to work with Moss.

He's not deciding who to trade for, just who to start for week 5. That by definition rules out the long term.

You can't bench Rivers the way he's playing.
Favre hasn't looked good yet. He might get a bomb (or two) to Moss but Rivers will be the better, safer, smarter play.
