Hi,
Its my first year as a keeping owner and I wouldm like some advice:
12 Teams (QB,2RB,2WR,TE, WR/TE, K,D)
We are allowed to keep 5 points worth of players
each of us has roughly 3 players of value 2 and the rest is value 1.
My possible Keepers are:
P.Manning (2)
R.Moss (2)
R.Grant (2)
S.Slaton (1)
R.Brown (1)
Ch. Taylor (1)
L.Evans (1)
A.Bryant (1)
D.Avery (1)
O.daniels (1)
Of course I would like to keep Manning/Moss/Slaton and Brown, but that is one point too much. I had Moss marked as odd man out so far, but his grandious forecast by Kubiak gets me thinking.

Re: Keeper Advice needed
Interesting system. Personally, I would keep Manning, Moss, and Slaton.
Re: Keeper Advice needed
I concur with bird jam.
How are the values determined?
Re: Keeper Advice needed
Its basically how long they have been kept already. Although in the first year we have started with the top 30 players having value 2 too simulate a more realistic situation.
Right now I am contemplating a trade of Moss vs Steve Smith, who has only value of 1 and would allow me to keep Brown too.
Re: Keeper Advice needed
I agree with everyone else. Manning, Moss, Slaton. Can't you draft a better back than Brown? The point difference between Moss and Smith might be greater than that of potential RB and Brown.
Re: Keeper Advice needed
Manning Moss Slaton. If you cant do any better than Brown with your first rounder, maybe it would be better to do Brown and S Smith. Don't sleep on Donnie Avery either.
Re: Keeper Advice needed
Slaton and Manning are givens. That leaves you 2 points. Moss is the "safest" pick (providing he doesn't get hurt) but I would consider keeping A. Bryant and R. Brown instead. This gives you great depth and more flexability in the draft. Even more so if you trade Moss in the off season.
Keep in mind I'm one of the few people who think A. Bryant will still be a top 10-15 WR this season.
Re: Keeper Advice needed
I'm gonna be the outsider here and suggest nixing Peyton. QB looks 12 deep this year, and you only need 1 QB. Peyton's a safe top 7ish guy, but I would have to imagine you could get a decent Aaron Rodgers/Donovan McNabb/Phillip Rivers type guy in the draft.
If you don't take Peyton, then Moss and Slaton are givens. Then your question is whether you take Grant (whose 08 season could be seen as an outlier for a number of reasons), or whether you go Ronnie + Lee Evans.
