10 team league, 1 ppr., 20 round draft. I can keep 1 rookie from last year but have to forfeit my pick in the round I drafted them last year. My choices are Jahvid Best(7th round) & Ben Tate(17th). I was disappointed with Best last year and if Foster's hamstring continues to act up, I'd be getting tremendous value with the Tate pick. Or am I over thinking it?

Re: Keeper Advice Needed
Tate WOULD be great value for that late round IF he is the guy to take over for Foster IF Foster stays hurt, on the other hand Best in the 7th is still a very good value AND he is the starter already.
I'd keep Javid and heck you can redraft Tate in the mid-late rounds if you want him. He should be around later with an ADP of around 17 already but moving up. Can get him at 15 probably easy in a normal league unless you have a panicking Foster owner. Or you could draft Ward. Tate and Ward are supposed to be tied on the depth chart right now
Re: Keeper Advice Needed
Yeah, that sounds about right.
Re: Keeper Advice Needed
Just found out I got the #3 pick. If I take Foster, does that change anything?
Re: Keeper Advice Needed
Depends on what you think of Best. I'd be avoiding him if possible - but if he were there in the 7th round, I'd likely take him. I wouldn't take him in the 5th where I got Shonn Green last night. I got Ryan Matthews in the 7th - and I look at the two of them as having similar value. (Best more a sure thing to be mediocre and Matthews with more upside but a bigger chance of being a bust)
The other thing to keep an eye on is how HammyGate develops. Seems to be some confusion right now if Foster's hammy is torn, strained, or if he just has a little boo boo.
Tough call. You gotta make this one based on your evaluation of Best.
