Hey guys,
Given this situation, I'm curious to hear opinions on how to build the strongest team:
12-person keeper league
QB, 3WR, 2RB, TE, WR/RB, K, DEF. 2 Keepers per team
Kept Chris Johnson (for a 6th) and Steve Slaton (10th). Of the 24 players kept, 4 are QBs (Warner, Rivers, McNabb, Cassel), 4 are WRs (Moss, Fitzgerald, Royal, Welker) and 16 are RBs.
Standard scoring...except:
.5/completion, passing yards 1pt/50yd. QB's are worth a lot more
1pt/rec, receiving yards 1pt/20yd. Receptions are emphasized
After mocking this league to hell, and I have a good idea of who will be available each round:
AVAILABLE
Round 1: (4th pick overall)
QB: Drew Brees , Tom Brady, Peyton Manning
RB: Kevin Smith, Thomas Jones, Reggie Bush,
WR: Reggie Wayne, Steve Smith, Calvin Johnson,
Round 2:
QB: Tom Brady, Peyton Manning
RB: Reggie Bush, Marshawn Lynch, Jonathan Stewart
WR: Dwayne Bowe, Brandon Marshall, Roddy White, Marques Colston (risky)
Round 3:
QB: Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Tony Romo
RB: Jonathan Stewart, Knoshon Moreno, Beanie Wells, Joseph Addai, Larry Johnson, LenDale White, Willie Parker
WR: Brandon Marshall, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, TO, Antonio Bryant
Round 4:
QB: Tony Romo
RB: Derrick Ward, Willie Parker, LJ, Lendale
WR: Hines Ward, Chad Ochocinco, Anthony Gonzalez, Donnie Avery
TE: Antonio Gates, Jason Witten, Tony Gonzalez
What are your guys thoughts? How would you build the strongest team?
