Hey guys,
I'm trusting Kubiak's projection and drafting Forte much sooner than his ADP on Yahoo (80). My league is 12 teams 0.5 PPR with 2RB, 2WR, 1 flex.
I'm drafting him at either pick 35 or 38 (end or round 3 or beginning of round 4) depending on who else is still around. Too soon or just right?

Re: Matt Forte - Where to draft
In my league just about right. I picked him at 44 when we did our draft, though ours wasn't PPR which should further benefit Forte.
Also if you really want Forte, what will make you angrier, getting him in the 4th and thinking you may have slightly overpaid by a round at draft day, or not getting him at all?
Also surprised he's at 80 on any rankings. Rotoworld has him in the 40s on their ADP reports and their value. There's a pretty dramatic drop off at RBs after the Jacobs/Forte/Ronnie Brown tier
Re: Matt Forte - Where to draft
Thanks. I've done a few mocks where I've waited for the end of the 5th to grab him and he's been there. Yahoo hates Forte. Jacobs too:

Re: Matt Forte - Where to draft
I got him 50th (last pick in the 5th round) in my draft. However, I think there are only 3-4 people who know what they're doing in my league. Tony Romo went in the first round.
Re: Matt Forte - Where to draft
2 things:
Kubiak had him top ranked top 3 RB last year so...watch out
I've found when you go live and the clocks ticking, guys will go sooner than they do in mocks
Re: Matt Forte - Where to draft
Bingo... I totally agree! In mock drafts, I see Forte going in rounds 4-5, however, i feel if you want him, you may have to take him in round 3, especially in PPR leagues...its high, but its human nature. People remember him being a top 3 pick a year earlier and will feel they are getting a steal in round 3... i would feel much safer getting him in round 5~
