Moats or Mendenhall

I'm going to start either Ryan Moats or Mendenhall at my flex this week. Moats goes against the worse run defense, but I don't know how many carries Slaton is going to get. Mendenhall will get the majority of carries, but Denver's front seven is better than Pitt's offensive line.

Who should I start?

Ugh. I'd call Mendenhall the safer play, while Moats would be boom or bust. Moats didn't make a huge splash when he was playing for the Eagles, but maybe he's better now?

Everything I've read seems to indicate that Moats and Slaton will be splitting carries roughly equally. But you shouldn't believe what you read. Pittsburgh isn't very good at running the ball and Denver is hard to run on.

I basically agree with the above poster. Mendenhall is the safe play if you feel you just need some points. Moats is more the home run threat, but could also get you a 2.

Thanks for the advice. I should have mentioned this in my original post, but I also have Hakeem Nicks as a potential flex play. Would you rather play Nicks than both Mendenhall and Moats?

Uh, I hope you went with Mendenhall this week...
