Rate My Team - 14 Team Keeper League

I took over a team one season into a keeper league. There's 14 teams and we start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 RB/WR, 1 TE, 1 DEF/ST, 1 K and have 18 man rosters. There's two rookie spots that must be filled by rookies. Scoring is standard except for .5 PPR, .15 per completion, 3 bonus points for 100 yards rushing or receiving or 250 yards passing, and 2 more bonus points for 150 yards rushing or receiving or 350 yards passing. Here's my team:

QB: Matt Schaub
RB: Marion Barber
RB: Marshawn Lynch
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: Roddy White
WR: Reggie Wayne
RB/WR: Knowshon Moreno
TE: Jason Witten
DEF/ST: Patriots
K: Nate Kaeding

Bench: Ben Roethlisberger, Lendale White, Donald Driver, Jamaal Charles, Leon Washington, Kevin Curtis, Deion Branch, Austin Collie, Pat White

I'm going to explain how my team came to be, if you don't care feel free to skip to the end. So the original team I inherited had Aaron Rodgers, LT, Lendale White, Felix Jones, and Tedd Ginn. White and Jones had 2 year contracts, everyone else one had a 1 year deal. We get one contract extension per year so I used that to retain Calvin Johnson. There were some other decent players but I felt Johnson was the best choice. I also had the 4th pick in each round of the 2 round rookie draft and the 10 round regular draft.

Then I traded Aaron Rodgers for Matt Schaub, Joseph Addai, and a 4th rounder. Both Schaub and Addai had two year deals so I thought this was a great deal. I traded LT for Barber, a trade up from the second round into the first, a tradeup from the third round into the second, and the 13th overall rookie pick. I traded Felix Jones, a 4th rounder, Ted Ginn, and a second round rookie pick for Marshawn Lynch and Deion Branch. I made a minor trade up to the 3rd overall rookie pick and then I traded a late round pick for the 9th overall rookie pick (this guy didn't value rookies at all). I then traded away one of my extra rookie picks for a 6th rounder and then made the blockbuster deal of Addai, the 3rd and 9th overall rookie picks, and a mid rounder for Reggie Wayne and the 1st overall rookie pick.

Anyway, I'm sure that previous paragraph made no sense, but whatever. Point was I just tried to make a bunch of trades to slowly upgrade my team by getting rid of overvalued players for undervalued players.

In the rookie draft I took Knowshon Moreno first overall. I can keep him for up to 5 years and I just think he makes more sense than Beanie Wells in a PPR league. I took Austin Collie and Pat White with my two later picks.

In the regular draft I took Roddy White with my top pick over guys like Steve Smith and Marques Colston. With my second first round pick I took Jason Witten over guys like Jonathan Stewart, Reggie Bush, and Thomas Jones, mostly because I don't see them a much of an upgrade at RB.

I didn't pick again for maybe 30 picks until I went with Big Ben. All the undervalued players like Julius Jones, Devin Hester, and Donnie Avery were gone and while I'm high on Schaub he does get injured frequently. I then went with Donald Driver next.

In the fourth and fifth rounds I went with Leon Washington and Jamaal Charles to round out my RB depth. After that I picked the Pats defense in the 7th round (just missed the SD defense), Kevin Curtis in the 8th, and Nate Kaeding in the 10th round.

So I feel really excited about this team. I think my depth is strong everywhere but TE, but that can't really be helped. My RB situation will be weak without Lynch at the beginning of the season but I am playing most of the worst teams in my league then. I think my WR core is pretty well stacked, I think Witten is the best TE this year, and I think that I can platoon Schaub and Big Ben to get good production out of the QB spot.

All of my starters except for Barber and Calvin have multi-year contracts and I can extend one of them at the end of the year. I've been trying to trade one of them for a player with a multi-year deal so that I'll have my whole starting lineup for next year set but so far no such luck.

Also, if you didn't notice I have 19 players. I only need two rookies so one of Pat White or Austin Collie will almost surely be cut/traded, probably White.

So what do you think? Is my team really strong or am I overrating them? Any weaknesses I should be looking to address?

Sorry in advance for the length of this post.

I also forgot to mention that Mike Walker and Danny Ware are still available. Would you drop Deion Branch for either of them?

Wow. A lot of moves. Your WRs and TE are top notch. I'm a little worried about your RBs...no 1st tier backs, but Barber, Lynch, and Moreno SHOULD be solid. Can LenDale carry Lynch's load, while out? That's a big question. Maybe there will be a back that jumps out after weeks 1 and 2 off of waviers.

Overall, nice job.

Yeah, it was a lot of moves. I'm not normally such a big trader but I just kept finding deals I wanted to make.

I'm thinking I won't start Lendale much while Lynch is out. He has some tough matchups (like against the Steelers in the season opener) so hopefully I can start Moreno and have Driver be the flex. In a .5 PPR it's okay to start a WR at flex right?
