Sleeper Rookie RB's

I always try to take a couple rookie RB's toward the middle/end of the draft as i'm in a keeper league and you never know what will happen. I picked Chris Johnson toward the end of the draft a couple years ago and this year he's my keeper.

Who's out there that everyone is excited about?

Yeah, there's two guys everyone should be loving, and a third who should be gaining love with every passing minute.

Jahvid Best (Lions)

This guys is explosive as hell and is in line for the starting job. His durability and the fact that he plays for the Lions are two understandable concerns, but his speed and versatility could easily make him a quality RB2 in fantasy this year.

Ryan Mathews (Chargers)

LT is gone, and in comes a more shifty and explosive Mathews. he's not the fastest in the world, but he can spring, and he'll be toting the ball in San Diego. His offense could be hurt with Vincent Jackson out, but he should be OK and a solid RB2.

CJ Spiller (Bills)

With Fred Jackson out for who knows how long with ankle and hand injuries, the extremely explosive Spiller is in line for tons of touches, and could easily be a RB2 candidate, as well. I'd rank him third on this list of rookie backs, but all three of these guys should make an immediate impact.

Also if you are looking for a sleeper rookie RB take a close look at Montario Hardesty in Cleveland. You can get him cheap and he should get more playing time this year than CJ Spiller.
