Super Bowl "Hangover"
Hey all,
I'm wondering about your takes on "Super Bowl Hangovers." I haven't done any sort of rigorous statistical study of this phenomenon, but it seems to me that these so-called hangovers are purely anecdotal. In fact, of the 40+teams who have lost the Super Bowl, 30 have gone on to make the playoffs the following year. Furthermore, the sample set is so small and there is so much parity in the NFL, it seems that there not much evidence to prove a correlation.
Thoughts?
