If anyone is in a league where you do a team qb could you explain how this works?

I am not in such a league, but I am pretty sure you just draft a team (instead of a QB) and you get all the stats put up by that team's QBs. The idea behind it is if the starter gets hurt, you still get the stats the back-up puts up so you don't get shut out at QB.

I wonder how this works for some of the new trick plays - would Randle El count if he takes a direct snap and throws a TD?
