10 team flex (Non PPR), 6pts PTD, start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1Flex, 1TE, 1DST, 1K
Draft position #2 - required to draft 2QB, 4RB, 5WR, 2TE, 2DST, 2K
1.(2) Chris Johnson - 5 QBs went RD1
2.(19) R White - (A Johnson, R Moss, C Johnson, R Wayne were off the board)
3.(22) M Austin - R Mathews still on the board
4.(39) J Stewart - Reached here, but a little panicked that I passed on R Mathews
5.(42) P Rivers
6.(59) B Celek - Gates, Clark, Finley, Davis, Witten were off the board
7.(62) A Foster
8.(79) J Knox
9.(82) S Moss
10.(99) Saints DST
11.(102) R Bush
12.(119) B Roethlisberger
13.(122) J Carlson
14.(139) Jacoby Jones
15.(142) R Bironas
16.(159) Cardinals DST
17.(162) R Gould
My Draft plan for a top 4 pick was to get an elite RB, then 2 top 10 WR, then go from there. Passing on R Matthews at 3rd pick was tough and I'm still 2nd guessing my decision. I think I'll be OK with J Stewart and Foster and playing weekly matchups? Thanks for any input.

Re: Thoughts on My Draft, only my 2nd year doing this, love it!
I like it. I agree with your overall strategy; you needed to take a WR in round 3, though I personally would have tried to go with someone besides Austin. I'm a bit surprised that Rivers and Foster were still available where they were, but that's your gain. I certainly don't see any glaring weaknesses on your team, at least.
Re: Thoughts on My Draft, only my 2nd year doing this, love it!
Thanks. Yeah, I'm not sold on Austin as a lock top ten WR either but like his upside. Just curious, who u would have picked? A Johnson, R Moss, C Johnson, R Wayne were off the board and I felt the rest of the big 10 all have some concerns, L Fitz's QB situation is scary and vibes in ARI are terrible so far, Luv B Marshall but not sure about Henne and Marhall's role in their run heavy offense + Brutal defensive schedule, G Jennings obviously in great situation but lot of mouths to feed in GB + he burned me last year, D Jackson is looking a little fragile to start the season, Colston - well other than Brees, I try drafting as few Saints as possible to avoid pulling out my hair figuring out who will put up the numbers this week.
Also, I not sure about R Bush, got good value and he may have a bigger role this year but never seems to come to fruition. R Williams, C Taylor, and M Bush went undrafted and are available on the WW. I was close to taking a chance on Ricky but their run SOS is brutal until playoff time. Any thoughts?

Roddy White, then Desean or Fitz.
Any thoughts on improving my position against team 2?

Re: Any thoughts on improving my position against team 2?
If Ricky Williams is still out on the wire you should definitely pick him up. Otherwise I'd consider dropping Reggie or a kicker to speculate on a M. Williams or Raiders RB.
Compared to Team 2, I wouldn't be too worried. 2 has a slight edge at RB but 1 is better at QB which is probably a higher scoring position. WR and TE look like a push to me. Of course this is football, Where The Ball Bounces Funny (tm).
Re: Thoughts on My Draft, only my 2nd year doing this, love it!
Thanks. I've been leaning towards dropping R Bush for Ricky. Reggie has looked good in the preseason but always disappoints. Ricky's SOS schedule looks brutal but actually looks much better around playoff time and Brown will likely have gone down by then.
Re: Thoughts on My Draft, only my 2nd year doing this, love it!
Don't get me wrong, I think Reggie is an underrated pick, and there is reason to believe that he'll get a lot more work this year. It's just that Ricky will get even more work than that, and his only downside is his age.

Re: Thoughts on My Draft, only my 2nd year doing this, love it!
Good solid draft. I know you had to draft a certain way, but if you can, drop the 2nd Defense, TE & K. You can always replace them. Grab Hightower, M. Bush & Tampa Bay Mike Willianms. If not, then Drop Carlson immediately, he is out for the season. Celek isnt a highly rated fantasy TE this year. You might do better with Kendricks, or Cook. I'm not high on Reggie Bush this year. Tim Hightower should have a MUCH better year. And Tampa Mike Williams will have a better year than Jacoby Jones. Good Luck, not matter what you decide.
