Anyone want to talk about Navy upsetting Notre Dame? I don't.

Illinois wins again! That's consecutive victories over FBS opponents! Zook's job will be safe into 2010. Minnesota's offense seemed kind of dysfunctional: calling deep passes with a QB who holds the ball too much and an OL that is poor at protection. Oh well, UI fans will take any victory.

Ohio State defeats Penn State in Happy Valley, while Iowa loses in Evanston. This means the Buckeyes are going to Pasadena, where they will meet Ore- what?

(Previously) underrated Stanford knocks off mighty Oregon, reopening the Pac-10 race!

Mayhem like this is what makes CFB so fun. And speaking of mayhem, kudos to the Middies for showing why they are always dangerous. Sorry, Mr. Fremau.

So, with Oregon and Iowa losing, does that eliminate the Pac10 and Big Ten from the BCS championship? The only real way they were passing up Texas and Alabama/Florida was by going undefeated/only having one loss. Or are Ohio State/Penn State/USC still technically in the race?

Yeah, Buckeyes! Great win today! Looks like OSU is headed to the Rose Bowl. That will be nice, given that their last six Big Ten titles did not produce Rose Bowl trips. Of course, OSU still needs to beat Iowa.
