Week 3 RBs

Due to some of the injuries around the league, I have a bit of a dilemma with 4 viable starting RB's. Who to start this week?

Forte @ SEA
D. Williams @ DAL
F. Jones vs. CAR
Sproles vs. MIA

I was leaning towards Forte and Jones. However, with Barber practicing, I don't think I can afford to wait til Monday night to find out if Jones is the primary back.

I'd definitely start forte unclear from there unless it becomes 100 percent barbers out

Yeah, ditto on Forte. He will probably do well considering how badly the Seattle D got burned by Gore. (Which is hard to say as a Hawks fan). I think from there I would start Sproles or Jones depending on the status of LT and Barber.

I'm deciding between Forte (against Seattle's depleted D) and Tim Hightower (facing the Colts D). I fear the Colts D will bounce back, but so far Hightower has way outperformed Forte. Is Forte due to have his first good game?

Against Seattle? If he's ever going to do well, it'll be this week.

Indubitably.

No question, you have to start Forte. Hightower's not half as good. If he were putting up Fred Jackson's numbers, or even outgaining Wells on a per carry basis, I'd entertain the idea that he'd turned the corner, but he's only been decent with 11.5 carries a game and one catch-happy fluke. The Steelers held Chris Johnson in check, too, so I wouldn't worry about last week. Not sure what happened against the Packers, other than Cutler playing terribly, but Forte's far more likely to have a good game than Hightower in any given week.

If Barber can't play, is Felix Jones expected to be the starter with Choice getting 5-10 carries a game, or are they going to keep Jones in his explosive situational role and give Choice the grinding role?

I read that Felix is starting.

Now I have to decide between Felix and Ronnie Brown.

I have to pick 2 out of 3: Gore, Slaton and Felix Jones. It's going to be hard to bench Gore after last week, but should I do it?

Don't bench Gore. It's Slaton who hasn't produced yet this year.

If you played, Gore, don't feel bad--I did too. Did he not stretch before the game or something?

Lingering injury

He hurt his ankle in Week 2 and aggravated it in Week 3.

Coulda sworn I read somewhere that it was unrelated... but whatever. Good thing I drafted the mighty Glen Coffee.

Ah, you're right.

On a second look, I see it was reported to be unrelated. The earliest report I saw said he aggravated the prior injury. It's the same ankle, though, and the Niners also reported it wasn't serious before the MRI came out. I honestly don't know if the two injuries have anything to do with each other, but I don't like his chances of getting his right ankle/foot to 100% and not reinjuring it the rest of the season.

Coffee was already owned by someone else in both my leagues - one where I have Gore and one where I could use the RB depth. Good thing my Gore team picked up Tashard Choice last week.
