Week 6 QB

I need to choose which QB to start. I usually start Rivers, but I have reservations because of the D he's facing.

Rivers vs Denver
Favre vs Ravens
Orton @ San Diego

1 pt for 25 yards passing, 4 pts per TD, 6 prt rushing TD.

Rivers scares me because the Broncos D just hasn't been letting up many scores and has been shutting down Fantasy QBs. Orton has been relatively consistant, but the Chargers are 32nd against the run and I have to worry about the team being run over. Favre has been good at home and Baltimore has been susceptible to the pass this year, but this team loves the run and the Ravens love turnovers.

Which of the 3 should I start?

I understand your difficulties, but I'd still start Rivers, unless you're feeling some of that Favre magic as he faces a Ravens D that really really really wants to stop the run (as they failed to last week against Cincy). Favre has been playing well on a team that opponents can't afford to worry about his passing.

Yeah, I think you have to go with Rivers here because neither Favre nor Orton have a great matchup. It would be different if they were playing a real patsy defense.

I see a tossup between Rivers and Favre. Champ Bailey has been playing like a... champ... and the Vikings are sure to avoid the Ravens' strong line in favor of exploiting the weak pass D. I suppose I'd lean Rivers based purely on talent (and the lack of a complementary run game). Orton has potential but will probably continue his game manager ways.
