Week 8 RB's

So, having decided after leaving him on the bench his last two games to never sit Ray Rice again, I need 1 more this week:

M. Lynch v. HOU; MJD at TEN; or Bradshaw at PHI. The dilemma is really between Lynch, who's been terrible but has a great matchup; and MJD, who's great but streaky and disappointed the last time the Jags played the Titans. I'll probably end up starting my 4th overall pick and probably dump Lynch if he can't run on the Texans, but am curious to know what you guys think.

I think this is what folks refer to as "matchup overanalysis." Start your first-round pick.

Yes, MJD all the way.

Definately MJD. Bradshaw is a backup with a terrible matchup, Lynch might do OK but has a bad O.

Your guys opinions, pick two of three:

Moreno vs BAL
Buckhalter vs BAL
J. Jones @ DAL

Standard scoring, No PPR, +4 points for plays over 40 yards.

Definitely Moreno. Whether to go Buckhalter or J. Jones depends on whether you want a safe play (Buckhalter) or boom-or-bust (J. Jones). Personally I'd go J. Jones as he is not competing for TDs with Moreno, but I would not be at all surprised to see him score like two points.

So, who gets the fantasy points, Fargas or Bush? Yes, it's sad that I even have to ask, but SD's run defense is pretty bad, and if one or the other gets 20+ carries, he should be a passable fill-in for a bye week. The question is, which one?

Fargas is clearly ahead of Bush. If any Oakland RB has value while McFadden is out, it's Fargas.

Fargas is currently the man in Oakland. Isn't this like the third year where the Raiders have gone through their RB progression and wound up going with Fargas?

Always start your studs, MJD is a stud and the only time he should not be in ur line up is during Jacksonville's bye (which i think was last week anyways) or substantial injury

MJD for certain. HOU's run defense has been strangely good the past few games. Bradshaw's foot is broken and he's in a timeshare against a good D. None of these are what I would consider completely safe options, though.

Hey all, I need an opinion. 2 of the following:

R. Brown @NYJ
T. Choice @SEA
Moreno @BAL

Brown seems the obvious #1, but who's number 2? LT seems like a good play v. oakland, but he hasn't done anything this season. Seattle's defense sucks, so I could see Choice doing well, or not b/c of playing time. And Moreno's playing Baltimore. Thoughts?

Do not start Choice. He's the odd man out in their rotation - Barber gets the goal line work and a lot of carries, Jones is their change of pace back. Choice will probably be in the game for 10 snaps, and a lot of that time he'll be pass blocking.

You obviously have to start Brown. LdT hasn't done anything all year, but he has been running better lately, and Oakland's D sucks. My larger worry of LdT would be him being benched of SD drops 30 on them, but they kept in LdT against KC last week and tried really hard to get him a TD. I think LT is the safer play, though I can see Moreno putting up a 15 for 50 yards and a TD type game.

You're right Brown is the must start. I'll agree with the other reply that LT is your #2 - Moreno has a change-of-pace back, too, and Baltimore has the better rush D.

Thanks guys. LT and Brown it is.
