Do you guys think Welker is ranked a little High? With that addition of Lloyd, I am not sure my expectations match Kubiak's.

I think Welker will a solid year, but it will be nothing compared to last year.
1) They will be fazing Welker out. They obviously have no intention of keeping him on the team long-term. This means people like Aaron Hernandez will be eating into his role.
2) Welker was so successful last year because the Patriots played a short passing game. They played that way because they did not have a deep threat. They added Brandon Lloyd for that exact reason.
Welker should still catch 100 balls, given health.
Contracts are contracts, and it's highly unlikely Welker comes back next year, but once the season starts, that goes out the window and McDaniels, and more importantly Brady, are going to go with whatever gives them the best chance to move the chains. It is so hard for anybody to cover Welker man-to-man -- the only one I've seen do it is Revis, and he destroys zones. The addition of Lloyd should mean that the middle of the field should be less congested for him to get open, and get yards after catch.
