Welker and Ronnie for Brady

12-team, standard scoring, 1 flex spot. I give up Brown and Welker to get Brady.

I am currently starting Matt Hasselbeck after dropping Kolb (starter) and Garrard (backup). Waivers are totally dry.

My other RB's:
Peterson
A Foster
A Bradshaw
R Mathews

My Other WR's:
D Jackson
M Wallace
K Walter
M Williams

Would you do this deal? Is there a better way to package the players (like swap Welker for a RB)?

I think you do pretty well with this trade. If you can get away with not giving up Welker, then you'll end up a clear winner.

I am in a similar situation. Standard scoring, no PPR.

My current QBs are Palmer and Manning the Lesser. Big Ben is out on waivers and I'm thinking I'll pick him up regardless of whether or not I pull the trigger on this trade.

I would give Welker for Brady (and pay fees for both teams and buy the guy with Brady a shot).

My other WRs after the trade would be R. Wayne, D. Jackson and Hines Ward.

I'm thinking this would be a good trade for me overall. What do you guys think?

Sure, you're fine at WR, so giving up Welker for a clear upgrade at QB. I just can't imagine the other owner biting.
