Not to toot our own horns or anything, but the one and only Paul Zimmerman recommends a book in his mailbag today: "It's called Brassey's Pro Football Forecast ($21.95), and it's got a lot of meaningful, non-run of the mill analysis of each team, plus a lot of intricately evolved statistics you don't see elsewhere. Much hard work went into this book. Worth a look." That, in case anyone doesn't know, is the book we here at Football Outsiders co-wrote. Having heard it from Dr. Z, you know you need to order it now.
Looking back at FEI's preseason projections, we find that most teams did about what they were supposed to do -- but not in the Big Ten, where things got screwy.
