Reader Barry Goodberg linked this in the Game Discussion Thread, and he's right -- this is one of the better articles Ron Borges has written recently. We pick on him a lot around here but this article is quite emotional. As Barry noted, "Drew Bledsoe was Borges's favorite Pats player, partly because he was Borges's primary source on the Pats, partly because Bledsoe didn't completely buy into the Parcells and Belichick systems, which Borges detests in spite of their success, and partly because Bledsoe is a genuinely good guy. When Borges writes such an epitaph for one of his athlete friends, it bears notice. "
