Blogger "3martini" proves that in the NFL, there's no accounting for lack of taste. Too bad he didn't also include "alternate" uniforms, or else this list could have been 25 teams long. The Bengals, of course, are number one. My god, their new uniforms this season are hideous. (Hat tip: Off Wing Opinion)

It was quite useful reading, found some interesting details about this topic. Thanks.
Honolulu Blue is a great color. I was angry when they jacked around with it a couple of years ago. (Hint: crap of a different color is still crap.) I believe that they went back to the correct blue this season, although it may still have the black trim.
I can understand having an alternate uniform, although if you have history, it ought to be either a throwback look or a new color scheme, not both. I don't understand the need to change colors every couple of years - I guess jersey sales must be a big draw, although I can't say I know anyone personally who's ever said "Gee, now my jersey is the wrong color, I have to buy a new one."
It's too late for the Browns to put a logo on their helmets.
I like the Arizona helmets. I don't think a stripe would look good on them. I don't mind stripes in general, although they ought to be full stripes, not the kind that tail off to a point.
Yes, the Padres' camo uniforms were awful. The Canucks have worn a number of bad jerseys - I think their current ones have a logo that looks like the Sharks' logo. The Islanders' fish-sticks-logo uniforms were bad. Of course, the newer teams have quite a challenge - although there aren't a lot of NHL teams with a long history, IMHO, the ones that do all have classic uniforms, so it's hard to compete with that.
NBA uniforms can be really bad. I think Cleveland has had 10 color schemes in two years.
I liked the Astros' sunset uniforms, but I suspect I was alone in that. Oakland's old green-and-gold was nice.
I better stop before I get any farther into it-was-better-in-the-'70s. :)
I've liked the Bengals' helmets for a long time, and I'm not a Bengals fan.
I also like the Buccaneers' old creamsicle uniforms. I think that uniform gets a bad rap because the team's play was mostly dreadful in them.
oh great I got sucked into replying to an old thread by the spammer.
