49ers' Fortunes Can be Reversed

Our friend Dan Brown of the San Jose Mercury News has a good look at what it would take for the 49ers to turn things around, and whether the path they're setting out on is similar to what other teams that have made successful turnarounds have done.

[off topic] Does anyone else have trouble finding the links that these articles refer to? Sometimes the title gets linked to the article, other times it links to a full page of the comments and intro, and still other times it doesn't link at all. I'd love to see see the link to outside articles done in a more consistent manner -- like in the line below the article ([link]outsde article[/link]), or require a link inside the intro ("has a [link]good look[/link]...")

Step 1 to turn things around: Play teams coached by Mike Martz.

step 2, don't articles on how bad a team is until after at least 5 weeks.

re #1: If you're arriving at this page from a site other than the FO homepage, that may be your problem. I get the FO headlines on "My Yahoo," which is my browser's homepage, and if I click the link on Yahoo all I get is the synopsis and comments, and cannot click to the article. I hope that was not completely unclear.

Thanks Francisco -- I do the same -- so that is indeed my 'problem.' I suppose I should instead, click the link in the feed, click the icon to get to the home page, search for the articl, and read it there. [yikes!]
