Free Agents Lurk, Texans Prefer Draft

Here's a novel idea, instead of chasing free agents every offseason, the Texans instead choose to build their team through the draft. Of course Redskins owner Dan Snyder immediately comes to mind as someone who looks to rebuild his team every year through free agency, but he might be wise to heed the words of Texans GM Charley Casserly, "You can't continually spend in free agency every year. If you're doing that, it's a sign that you haven't been drafting or signing the right guys." Exhibit A: Mark Brunell.
