The Times takes a look at how pervasive identity theft is among NFL players. Apparently, Ty Law doesn't actually walk around in public wearing a thick gold chain, and Ben Roethlisberger isn't the secret identity of Brian St. Pierre, even though some dude tried to pass himself off as both of them. Possibly the closest Super Bowl matchup in history also poses the question: how much does it mean when certain aspects of an NFL team improve dramatically in the second half of the season?
