I was just thinking to myself, "I liked the ESPN draft coverage this weekend, but there just weren't enough over-the-top reactions to every selection in the first round." Well, my prayers have been answered because Skip Bayless has thoughts on the first 32 picks.
Bayless likes the fact that Detroit got another WR with a top-10 pick, thinks Jacksonville didn't reach with QB/WR/TE/PA Announcer Matt Jones, applauds the Redskins for taking a CB and a QB (when they have more pressing needs at CB and every other position but QB), and assures us that the Patriots made the best value pick of the first round.
Now if we can just find a way to stop people from using the phrase, 'value pick.'
Possibly the closest Super Bowl matchup in history also poses the question: how much does it mean when certain aspects of an NFL team improve dramatically in the second half of the season?
