This weekend the running games took over from the passing games (hope that made you happy, Al) but we'll do Snap Judgment anyway. This week we look at Peyton Manning's inability to beat the Patriots, how the Eagles can stop Michael Vick, and what in the heck was wrong with Ben Roethlisberger. Also, the Football Outsiders QB ratings, featuring special guest stars the Football Outsiders RB ratings. I hope that my statements in Snap Judgment get across my feelings about the whole question of whether Sunday's game proves that "Tom Brady is better than Peyton Manning." I could probably write a book about this, but I'm under the weather again. Why do I keep getting sick on Mondays?
Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in the NFL, and should be the highest-paid. We can all agree on that. But this guest column by Kevin Kolbe explains why salaries for other quarterbacks are all out of whack.
