Vote T.O.!

Yeah, I'm really sick of the whole T.O. saga too, but this is really funny. Apparently TerrellOwens.com is imploring readers to vote T.O. into the Pro Bowl. Hey, if Catherine Zeta-Jones can win an Oscar, why not? At least he has talent.

To make Pro-Bowl week even more interesting, shouldn't we also vote for McNabb?

Suddenly, there'd be a reason to watch. Vote often!

Apparently Ralph Nader is also lobbying on TO's behalf (linked on my name).

4 receivers make the pro bowl for both conferences. For the NFC, IMO i'd say right now steve smith and santana moss are locks if they keep their pace up. Plaxico has good numbers plus he plays in new york so he appears on his way to getting as well. All the other top receivers are either suspended(T.O.) or hurt (javon walker, darrell jackson, torry holt, isaac bruce, joe horn). Oh wait, terry glenn is playing pretty well so he could make it plus boldin and fitzgerald are putting up big numbers, but boldin is hurt right now.

Ah screw it let's just vote reggie brown in to piss owens off.

Plaxico's DPAR sucks and his DVOA is worse. My four votes for the NFC:

1. Steve Smith
2. Santana Moss
3. Terry Glenn
and either
4. Joe Jurevicius
or Joey Galloway

T.O. doesn't deserve the honor, not because of his personality, but because he simply hasn't been one of the four (or five or six) best in the conference this year.

Somebody as informed as Ralph Nader has to know that free speech only applies to governments. The Eagles, as a private entity also has the right to free expression. If TO doesn't fit the image they want to express, they're free to can him.

I HATE when people start invoking constitutional rights against private entities.

Catherine Zeta-Jones won an Oscar?

Re #8: Catherine Zeta-Jones won an Oscar?

Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Chicago" (2002).

I think that someone ought to start a "Billy McMullen for the Pro Bowl" campaign.

#7: There are labor laws dealing with employees' rights to not be fired for speech. Since this was a contractual employment agreement, however, I don't think they'd apply. In any case, Nader is insane.

It isn't too crazy to think Galloway is a pro bowl contender, considering # of touchdowns and all .. .

Barring further injury, I think Holt will still put up Pro Bowl numbers and will deservedly win a spot (along with Smith and Moss). The other spot could go to any of a number of guys. Glenn probably has the edge. Don't see Galloway's numbers for the second half matching the first unless TB finds a QB solution.

I don't know if TO has been one of the best 4 all year, but in week 2 he got me about 40 fantasy points, so he gets my worthless vote.

Who is Catherine-Zeta Jones?

re 15: If you're serious, Catherine-Zeta Jones is an actress known more for looks than acting ability see link. If you're being sarcastic, feel free to ignore me like a raging Falcons fan.

I think Nickshine was making a comment based on teh misspelling of her name - It is properly spelled Catherine Zeta-Jones not Catherine-Zeta Jones

I didn't know that Catherine was famous for poor acting. I've never had a problem with her acting. And I've absolutely never had a problem looking at her. The only blemish is picturing her with Michael Douglas (who I don't mind, but it's just weird since he's so much older). Watching her wriggle her way through the laser beams in "Entrapment" in her tight pants was an all-time movie highlight.

My 5 year old goes to an after-school program run by the YMCA. As you might imagine, T.O. has been THE topic of conversation in the Philly area, and the YMCA after school program is no exception. Today they were all discussing T.O., when my son stood up and declared, "Terrell Owens does not live the YMCA values!" For those of you not familiar with the YMCA values, they are Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Pretty insightful comment for a 5 year old, I must say!

I hate to threadjack this, but it is a TO question. Does anyone know if suspensions without pay lead to a credit on the salary cap? Did the Eagles just gain $800K in cap space by suspending Owens? Just a thought I suddenly had.

Hats off to Jim, Howie, Terry and Jimmy on Fox last Sunday. They might have spent 5 or 8 minutes on the TO clusterphuck. ESPN on the other hand, spent the first 20 freakin minutes on the TO soap opra. Yes, TO has talent, but dump the loudmouth, cancer causing creep from football and the news for a year or so. Both Randy Moss and Keyshawn learned to keep their mouths shut - so hats off to them. Take advice TO - shut the freak up and play ball.

For year's I get up at 745am, make my Bloody Mary and look forward to Chris Berman... Come on Chris, don't turn ESPN Sunday Countdown into a soap opra mess like the ESPN fantasy web site. Come back to football and forget about the drama. It's football for Gods sake - it's a sport. Who gives a rat's @ss about TO and his antics. Thank you!!
