Pac-Man Jones Drops Appeal

Pac-Man Jones' lawyers have said they would appeal NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's 16-game suspension, but after Jones and Goodell had a private chat earlier today, the appeal was withdrawn. Interesting. From the article: "Goodell originally suspended Jones for a full year on April 10 with the stipulation that he could apply for reinstatement after 10 games if he complied with certain guidelines and stayed trouble free." Maybe this is Jones' new plan: be a model citizen and hope to make it back for the final six games.

I can't wait for his PSA.

Didn't the Titans just pick up another couple of CBs, anyway? Anyone believing that their secondary has absorbed the damage?

They picked up Kelly Herndon. Compared to Pac-Man, Herndon is a Taisho Era Pachinko Machine. On fire.

2: Intruiging. So by comparison, what is, say, Champ Bailey? Street Fighter II: Championship Edition? Is Duane Starks a couple of painted rocks?

Maybe Bob Dylan can write a song called "Pacman" to address this miscarriage of justice. :).

And now his DNA doesn't match the evidence from the Vegas fight.

I didn't know that bullets had DNA samples on them...

I swear I was thinking the same thing as #7 when I read #6 yesterday.
