Adam Jones Reinstated, Suspended Till December 7

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has reinstated troubled Cowboys cornerback Adam Jones from his indefinite suspension, but the suspension will continue for two more games. Jones will return December 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In preliminary game charting numbers, Jones has rated out as, by far, the Cowboys' best cornerback in 2008.

Is he really suspended for two more games or was it a team decision to hold him out until then?

Right, because Jerry Jones' influence is so great as to cause ONLY a 6 game suspension for no-arrest incident.

Steelers probably going to lose game. A Jones going to shut down H ward. Big game that week and pribaly going to be on national tv. Just as important is Raiders game on december 4. They can ruin Chargers season. Also Raiders have shot at division still,. Only 4 games behind Denver. If win this week only three games behind Raiders. If lose this week then season over.

So you hate the Cowboys because of Roger Goodell? Sounds like sound reasoning to me.

Note: I hope if "Cowbitches" is allowed by FO then we can say this about all teams, and not just the Cowboys. Although "Patbitches" doesnt really have the same ring to it.

I think this would be of more interest if Pacman was actually good at football. He's a sideshow.

Roger Goodell is a genius. He has solved the Pacman Jones matter without getting his hands dirty.

On 7 December Pacman Jones meets Hines Ward.

Can we have a quote from Goodell in TWIQ this week, something about this being PacMan's "last chance", and how he's on a "zero tolerance" policy? This is just ridiculous. I'm losing more respect for Goodell and the NFL front office all the time. Just because you hand out a ridiculous number of fines and suspensions, doesn't mean you're actually making the game or players behavior any better.
