Ah, the stories we get on Week 17 games when both teams are out of the playoffs...

Lane Johnson and D.J. Fluker were selected high in the draft, but both have troubling flaws in pass protection according to Word of Muth.

Re: Niners Growing Mustaches In Throwback Tribute
Wow, it must suck to be able to do that on short notice (from a shaving perspective). If I wanted to grow a tribute mustache, I'd have to plan a little farther in advance.
Like a year.
Re: Niners Growing Mustaches In Throwback Tribute
Well they didn't just start it.... Shaun Hill's apparently started four weeks ago, and he joined in late.
For four weeks, though, his 'stache looks pretty pathetic.
I think it would be cooler if a lot of them came out sporting huge fake moustaches, at least during pregame warmups. Something like Peyton Manning's commerical...

Re: Niners Growing Mustaches In Throwback Tribute
After the Packers' most recent 4th quarter choke job, I expect they'll be wearing mustaches and beards around Green Bay as they prepare for the Detroit game. Should they lose to the Lions, I expect the Packers to don dresses to escape out of town incognito.
Re: Niners Growing Mustaches In Throwback Tribute
Sigh, if the current niners can't restore the 49ers tradition of WINNING, perhaps they can at least look "cool" in their throwbacks & 'staches. I wonder if Santa can stuff Mike Holmgren, Matt Cassell, & Albert Haynesworth is the niner's stocking this year???
Re: Niners Growing Mustaches In Throwback Tribute
If I were a Niners fan, I'd prefer that they grew testicles instead of moustaches.
