Browns Put Brady Quinn On IR
Quinn injured his foot late in last week's win over Kansas City.
Note to Eric Mangini: Please, please go with Josh Cribbs at quarterback full-time. It's probably your best chance to win, it's for sure your most entertaining option, and it's not like you're going to be back next year one way or the other.

The Browns should totally use my suggestion to the 2006 Bears.
Just put Cribbs 15 yards behind the line, and treat every play like a punt return. I mean, he'd get three chances. It can't possibly go any worse.

if Bronws don't let Cribbs play Qb for entire game then team is even more dumber than we all thought. Of couse not going to win no matter who they use as quarterback. Raiders 23, Browns 15

Given how little we think of them, if they're even more dumber then we all thought, that's pretty bad.
The only thing that worries me about the pick is that the Raiders tend to play up or down to their level of competition.

Browns will start DA. It has already been announced. DA can either be very good (extremely rare: see Giants last year) or Jamarcus bad (see end of 2007, and all of 2008 except Giants, and all of 2009)
Charlie Frye vs DA......hahahahahahahahahahahahahha wouldn't miss this one for the world.
Raiders are not very good either, so I figure an even game

Mangini's either going to look at this situation as he has nothing to gain or that he has nothing to lose. This will determine whether he's just going to have fun out there.

Unfortunately, per the terms of the Favre-Mangini-Jets triple separation, Mangini is not allowed to "just have fun out there".

In 1983 or 1984, Rusty Lisch of the Bears was so bad in a game against GB, they took him out to let Walter Payton run their two minute drill from the shotgun.
