Football Fans -- Here's Collinsworth NFL 10!

Since John Madden is barely involved with Madden NFL video games at this point, it's only a matter of time before the series is named after the REAL color commentator. So NYC comedian Rob Lathan got Collinsworth started early on the video game thing. As you can see by the visuals, a little too early. This will hit home for anyone who, like me, was seven years old when Collinsworth played in his only Super Bowl.

The 2nd reply on that site: "I prefer Joe Buck. Much better play-by-play analyst than Chris, imho."

This is what's wrong with America.

I took that on a second level as well, that not only is liking Joe Buck a bit shameful, but even comparing Buck (play-by-play) with Collinsworth (color) is shameful in itself.

Dice took it the literal way in #2. What were you shooting for there?

Both ways, it's just an all around terrible thought.

Joe Buck is terrible. His Leon commercials are his career highlight. Slama-lama-ding-dong! Collinsworth does well, but I find his voice grating.

I know what you mean, but I can put up with a less than perfect voice if it's saying intelligent things.

"Rated "E" for effort" Good one!

Bob Papa. Excellent. Buck is a jerk.

And - hated him as a player and a person - Michael Irvin is an excellent expert for NFL Network Gameday Morning.

BTW: are these captchas only for amusement, or are they really validated here? "$12-billion idealist", and that is one of the worse ones.

I had to log out to make sure--FO is using reCAPTCHA (http://recaptcha.net/), which is a captcha service that doubles as a book digitization project. They send out an image from a scan to you, and you tell them what it is, and then they know that that's what the book says (it's slightly more complicated than that, for validation purposes and all that).

Neat little use of extra brainpower, if you ask me.

Dear God, this would be awful. (Although I have to admit Joe Buck would be even worse, if such a judgment is even possible.)

I guess it would have been too difficult to find someone whose voice doesn't send people running and screaming from the room.
